The purpose of this Act is to expand the comprehensive and immediate alert system already in place in the state of CA, named the "Feather Alert System," to rapidly disseminate information about missing indigenous persons in Oregon, while also requiring the inclusion of indigenous persons in statewide reporting by relevant authorities.

This article outlines a proposed Act in Oregon designed to protect the integrity of the legislative process by preventing religious influence in lawmaking. It prohibits elected officials from using personal religious beliefs to shape legislation, bars religious organizations from lobbying or creating state-level laws, and establishes oversight mechanisms to ensure compliance. The Act emphasizes fairness, secular decision-making, and transparency, with provisions for enforcement, periodic review, and continuity of the law.

The Purpose of this Act is to uphold the property rights of private landownders in the state of Oregon, providing them with greater freedom to utilize their land for personal use, including living in trailers or camping, without undue government interference. This will help reduce the stress of the homeless epidemic on our financial systems in Oregon.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Accountability, Funding, and Alert Act.

Safeguarding the lives, rights, and dignity of all individuals within our jurisdiction is a fundamental duty, and Indigenous communities have taken the brunt of disproportionate rates of missing and murdered individuals. Confronting the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) demands a multifaceted approach encompassing accountability, equitable funding, and rapid response mechanisms involving transparency, collaboration, and resource allocation are pivotal to rectifying historical disparities and fostering justice.

This blog outlines Brittany Jones’ education platform focused on fully funding Oregon schools to reduce class sizes and improve staff-to-student ratios, ensuring mental health professionals are available in every school, and launching targeted grants like Arts in Education and Diversity in Education to restore electives and strengthen representation. Recognizing the inherent dignity and autonomy of every individual, it is imperative that we take decisive action to ensure that all People in our nation can freely express their gender identity without fear of discrimination or censorship. Therefore, I present to you a plan of action to safeguard freedom of speech and gender expression through an executive order, rooted in the principles of self-expression and individual liberty.

As a mixed indigenous woman, Brittany is dedicated to working with First Nations, ensuring treaties are honored, land and water is protected, and we heal the wounds of the past so we can all move forward together for a better future for us all.

How we clean up our streets

With a housing first approach, not only will Oregon save money that can be used to better improve our education and healthcare systems, but we can clean up our streets making them safer for everyone. Brittany's plan is not a handout, and works to create contributing members of society by providing the stablization needed to move forward.
